Adding date fields

As the name implies, Date Fields allow the user to set the a field's value to a certain date.

&Date Fields are really a variation of Text Fields, and can be added by pressing the 'Insert Field' button on the 'Form Tools' toolbar. A Text Field will appear on the form, and it's properties window will be displayed.

Enter a Field ID for the Date Field, and set the Field Type to 'Date' from the drop-down selection box.

When the user selects a Field of 'Date' type, he will be presented with a 'Date Selection' screen. This allows him to scroll back and forth by Year, Month, and Day to select a particular date.
The user can also press the 'Today' button to select the current date, or press the 'Cancel' button to exit Date Selection.

Notice that the current date (in this case Jan 30, 2000) is shown in parantheses on the Palm's screen.
