Filtering Tables
PDA Toolbox can 'filter' a table based on the value of a popup field on the same form.   This allows you to view only records that match certain criteria (like 'categories').
To do this, add a popup field to the form with the table that gets it's selections from a database.   This will allow you to add new categories on your Palm.(See 'Popups using Database Links' section for how to do this).


On the tables Properties window (double click the table to bring this up), set the following properties.
-Set 'Source Database Field' to the name of the POPUP that will be used to select the category to view.
-Set 'Secondary Database Field' to the name of the field IN THE TABLE that will match the popup category field.
-Check 'Show related Records'.
